Franchisee Convention

This global franchisor held an annual convention for its franchisees and suppliers to communicate the upcoming marketing plan, development goals and operations initiatives. They needed project management, venue sourcing and comprehensive event management for their annual Franchisee Convention and Tradeshow.

 

WHAT WE DID FOR THEM:

Taking into account the amount of function space and sleeping rooms needed for this global convention with 3,000+ attendees and 100,000 sq. ft. exhibit space, we prepared a Request For Proposal then evaluated proposals and ultimately negotiated a contract with a large convention hotel. Our services included meeting planning, registration and housing, financial management and overall project management.  We lead Steering Committee meetings working cross functionally with several departments to plan and execute a world class convention and revenue-generating tradeshow that off-set all convention expenses.

Regional General Manager Conferences

WHAT THE CLIENT ASKED FOR:

Operations training, reward and recognition was a priority for this client. They needed site selection, event management and attendee registration for 6 three-day Regional Conferences across North America within 8 weeks for cumulatively over 8,000 Restaurant General Managers and Above Restaurant Leaders.

 

WHAT WE DID FOR THEM:

Working with availability and date constraints and logical production roadshow routing, we sourced and negotiated multiple hotel agreements simultaneously and then managed all pre-planning details for online registration and housing, catering and function room set ups.  Our services also included on-site execution at each hotel for 500 to 1200 participants per event --- all within budget!

60 Business Information Meetings

WHAT THE CLIENT ASKED FOR:

This national chain needed to host 60 one day Business Information Meetings across North America within a 3 week timeframe to cascade information and training to General Managers across the country. Regional leaders had to attend each meeting within their area and needed travel time in between meetings creating a puzzle of constraints to work through.

WHAT WE DID FOR THEM:

We sourced movie theaters across the country to bring these meetings close to home for the attendees. To address all 60 cities, we worked with 2 national theatre chains and several independent theaters. Since most meetings were in the morning, we catered breakfast through two national bakery cafes with delivery & set up service.  Working with national accounts, we successfully executed 60 meetings remotely in less than 21 days.
